Do you have big dogs or small dogs. Are the dogs aggressive to the cat. The cat will get used to the presence of the dogs but may be leery. Always make sure that the cat can jump from one high area to another for her own feeling of safety. Thank you for taking her in. She doesn't need to be in the basement. This is just too confining when she is to be a member of the household. Let her roam around the house with the dogs in another room and slowing introduce each dog. Keep them on a leash during introduction so that the cat feels safe.

I'm never one to apologize for my feelings, maybe my actions and never my feelings. I get that u were upset and u retreat ur actions but if she was a true friend she would have responded to the first email and maybe the other ones u would have send wouldnt have been so harsh. Cat Just Got Fixed, Anything To Watch For?

My cat just got fixed and her shots, is there anything I should watch for. I had my other cats fixed and they came okay but I'm just making sure because she's not reacting like the others did. They staggered around and meowed a lot for a day or two but she seems more mellow. She's just laying around and sleeping. Is this normal and she's being smarter about healing or is this something to keep an eye on? I mean, she's a naturally mellow cat, so, maybe it's just in her nature but I want to be safe and ask. Everyone tells me I need to grow up, but I don't really get why. I'm never really Mad,Sad, Negative or basically anything like that. I always have fun no matter what the situation is. WHat do you think about school dances?

Ok I love school dances for a few reasons. I like dressing up sometimes and hanging with my friends. Normally the decorations and lights are beautiful and it's just a nice change since I am a pretty mellow quiet person. So I never party really. But I think school dancing play to much rap and stuff. I mean yeah that's mainstream but teachers get so angry when people are grinding and all that but I mean what to they expect? Rap music and grinding are like a package deal. Im not saying getting rid of rap completely is the way to go because some people do like that stuff and people do have a good time "dancing" to it. But I think there should be SOME variety. There are so many great songs out there that you can actually dance to without being dirty about it. PLus as a rock and alternative fan myself, It would be a lot more fun having music that is new and interesting. It would also give other students a chance to be introduced to some new music that they wouldnt have even dreamed of liking. I dont get why schools dont do that. I mean I'm ranting, but wouldnt it help everyone if dances did that? i am sure more people would go to them if there was something for everybody, and more tickets would be sold meaning more money for the school budget. Anyway, what do you think about this? I wish I knew of a way to contribute this idea to the school but im not quite sure who to bring it up to.

Good fabric choice for my dress straps?

Is it really a shih tzu puppy?

I found an apricot colored puppy, that the owner claims is a maltese/shih tzu mix. He has an apple-shaped head, and is super tiny and mellow, but he sheds kind of a lot. In my country, America, we have laws that ban us from having an established religion. KeyScrambler 2.8.0.1 Issues?

I just installed the new version of the KeyScrambler on 2 computers, one is a Windows 7 and the other is Windows XP. On both computers, after about 2-3 minutes, the keyscrambler disappears. It's not in my task manager or as an overlay displaying the scrambled keys. Firefox claims it is still on when I check the add-ons, but it worries me that I can't see it. Is this a bug? Is anyone else having this problem?

If you're sill at school then you must be fairly young - and in my own experience I didn't really start to come out of my shell till my early twenties. You actually sound really great to me...where do you go to school haha? I think the only problem you might have is that you menitoned that you might come off as anti-social. Personally, I am that way myself...I'm a little bit shy and it's not that I don't want to talk to people and make friends, I"m just not good at starting things up...I like the other person to appraoch me. This I have found to be a problem. College, community college especially seems to be a place that you really have to work to make friends. People are there for different reasons and terms are short - just as you're starting ot get used to things and starting to talk to the people in your classes, all of the sudden the term is over. You all go your seperate ways and never see eachother again. So, if you really want to meet people, you're going to have to try harder. Talk to them, be friendly, ask them to hang out. It doesn't have to be like asking them out at first, you could simply ask them to hang out in the hall and study, work on a group project together, etc. or see if they'd like to go to coffee on campus or something like that. Then once you're comfortable around them and know that they're into you as well, then you can take it to the next step and ask them to dinner or whatever. You seem like a cool person to me, you're just going to have to work a little harder ot meet people. I go to community college as well and to be honest, it's lonely there for me. I have my same old friends, but I only see them on weekends or special occasions because they're off at other schools or doing other things. I haven't made very many friends in community college and ask long as the guy wasn't a complete creep (which you don't sound like a creep at all!) How do I permanently remove Trojan.Zefarch?

Every time I start up my computer, Symantec Endpoint Protection comes up and shows the results of an Auto-Protect scan. It always comes up with two files named overlay.xul and the risk being Trojan.Zefarch. Norton says they are deleted every time, but when I start up my computer again, it shows the same message. However, I cannot manually delete Trojan.Zefarch because it does not show up in my Task Manager processes and it does not show up in my Registry Editor.

Why is it when I play with the piano I get teary eyed?

I haven't learned piano yet, but I do sometimes fiddle around with it and If I'm lucky I form melodies and often times I get this almost teary feeling. I'm confused whether it is purely psychological(like its sub-consciously reminding me of a deep scarred past that I don't remember LOL) or a sign that tells me that I'll really enjoy learning it. Replacing cracked thermal pane glass?

Double hung Pella wood window approx 13 yrs old. Was installing a window ac and was screwing in a bracket on the side to hold the window down and you guessed it, the screw was too close to the glass and too long and CRACK goes the inside window pane. Trying to figure how to remove the whole glass insert to replace. The window tilts in and all I see on the outside is metal overlay over the sash. Does the entire sash have to be replaced or is there a way to take apart the sash.

Do you recommend them or do they suck? We still have my son's bassinet, but he would never sleep in it. I think it was too flat or something. Help with mkv and subtitles in media player classic?

i use media player classic to watch any and every video, i'm being forced to use the overlay mixer because any other output makes the video entirely too slow, but, the overlay mixer won't display the subtitles, and when i try anything that DOES show subtitles, the audio runs ahead of the video and the video is very very jumpy, i cant offset the audio because it changes how off set it is depending on how fast my computer will display the video. any other outputs i can use to watch high def mkvs with subtitles without the glitchiness? thanks

Why do Leos like me so much?

A lot of Leo girls, and even a few Leo guys hit on me frequently. Some times they are just really nice to me without any sexual intentions. My ferret keeps hissing at me!?

I adopted her from a family who couldn't keep her. We re-named her, (Tahlulah) gave her a bigger cage, adopted another ferret for her, give her food/water/treats/toys, but she keeps hissing at me! Just now i put her in her cage and sheWOULDN'T stop hissing! The first few weeks we had her she was mellow, would just sit in our arms, was cute and clumsy, now she wont stay still, SPAZZES OUT ALL THE TIME, AND HISSES AT ME AND OUR OTHER FERRET! Adopted a dog, not sure if the SPCA was right about his age?

I adopted a lab mix. They said Lab/Collie...now I can tell he's Lab/Husky by his curly tail, vocal talking, and how much he sheds!! When I adopted him they estimated 12-18 months. My husband and I decided we'd say he was 1 year a half at that time, so he's 2 years old now. I am seriously wondering if he may be older...say 3-5 years old. He is in good shape, good teeth, etc. Yet, he came to us with no puppy behaviours (and you'd think at 12-18 months that a lab mix would still chew and act like a puppy in some ways). He is totally mellow in the house and has never destructive chewed anything. The way that he acts you'd think he was older. So now I'm wondering if it sounds like he could be. I know there's not way to REALLY tell...but what has your experience been with adopting dogs? At 12-18 months does a lab/husky mix, in great shape, sound older than that if they do not chew anything and are low energy? Has anyone adopted a lab/husky mix before? Thanks for any thoughts. HELP I CANT TAKE THIS!!!!!?

ive had anxiety for 3 years and im 18 now. Its always their, but if i take xanax or if im tired and sometimes i feel happy its like its still their but very quiet if that makes sense like its very very mild and easy to deal with. But ever since my first panic attack that changed my whole thought process, i feel like it rewired my thinking process like i think in a diffrent way, i still feel the same emotions but i cant go on vacations or sleep at anybodies house anymore because my ocd flares and i get scared cause im not home in my comfort zone. I dropped out of high school, never had a job i feel like i cant cope with living, am extremllyyyyy depressed, and ocd RULES my life. I obsess about anything like that i have schizophrenia, autism, some kind of unknown mental illness and i just obsess over it. But for the past 2 days ive been "over analyzing" i guess is the term, But im obsessing over not being unable to understand what words, emotions, jokes etc. mean. For example(and this never happend before jokes always came natural along with empathy, and sympathy up untill 2 days ago) But anyways say if someone tells me a joke before i would of got the joke laughed got the sarcasm laughed got people emotions like if there angry sad mad happy, But now its like im over analyzing every single thing if someone tells me a joke my brain goes nuts and i just cant figure out the joke i have to literly explain to myslef why i get the joke, i have to explain to myself why people are mad why there happy and its like i have to try and my brain feels like its blocking me from understanding. Even though i am understanding i still get jokes emotions and everything but the thought of getting every jone or emotion has been constintly on my mind and it causes me HUGGGEE amount of anxiety i had a horrible panic attack last night because i felt like ill never be the same again. I was on antidepressants for 3 months when i first started getting anxiety attacks, And it did wonders idk why it doesnt help other people but it literly felt like i got my life back, the anxiety was still their in the back of my mind but it was so mellow its like it wasnt their. I started sleeping at peoples houses and just applying myself even though i never got a job. But i got off it idk why i just got lazy and felt like i didnt need it anymore and ever since then my OCD has blown WAYY out of proportion and im literly in tears right now as im typing this. I cant keep living this way i just want to be able to be free and happy. But the getting emotions and jokes thing started because i read an article on aspergers and starte obsessing that i had that and thats why i feel like i dont get jokes or emotions anymore. Before i read the symptoms of aspergers i still had anxiety and depression but i felt like myslef, ive alwyas understood social cues, jokes, sarcasm, facial and body expressions, i could always tell if someone was bored of my conversation, And made eye contact. But ever since i read the symptoms i feel like i cant understand people when they talk when i make eye contact because my brain is focusing on eye contact and not the conversation and that eye contact use to come naturally so i used to be able to make eye contact before. And what i mean by i cant understand language is for example, If i told u to say the word apple over and over and over again the word seems wierd and doesnt have the same meaning, well thats exactly what my minds doing i feel like words have no meaning as if there speaking a language i dont understand and along with this feeling i get kind of like a buzz in the back of my head along with anxiety and depression and i just feel like theres a mental block in my mind. Sorry for the long long question i just need reinsurance that im going to get better and this over analyzing will go away i just cant see it happening. How do i keep my male cat from attacking my other male cat?

I have three cats, one of which is female. I have a Bengal cat, who is very active and a few years old, and he is constantly attacking my other male, who is very mellow and a little older. However, he does not attack the female. There are scabs all over the older cat's neck and I hear them fighting at least a few times a day. This has been going on for a while, but has gotten worse over time. The older cat never instigates and always minds his own business. My Bengal cat is always the one to start the fight and is almost never injured. I have tried making loud noises like clapping my hands, tried throwing a pillow near them to startle the Bengal, and physically pulling them away from each other. There's never really time for me to grab a spray bottle, and I don't think it would work because the Bengal is pretty nonplussed about nearly everything. Sounds like a great family dog. I would just keep him on a lead near roads and make him sit every time he is at the kerb, whether there are cars coming or not and only let him cross when you give the word. Make sure he will also come back or stop when told to come here or wait and he shoould be fine. No good making him afraid of something, that will just make him freak out whenever he is near one which wont help the situation at all. Dogs dont really have much road sense so we have to use our own.

Is my husband over reacting?

Last night I returned from work to find my husband asleep on the couch with my 2 kids standing over him. When I asked what they were doing they popped up real quick smiling all too cheerily, my boy hiding something behind his back. Then I saw my husbands missing right eyebrow. Turns out they had found mommy's veet and wanted to test it out. When Jack (my husband) finally woke up and saw he screamed like a little girl and held his hand over his eyebrow like he had been shot and fell to the ground rolling around screaming. He ended up taking 4 days off of work to "heal himself" and everyday when I come home I find him naked as a jaybird covered in blankets from the tallest hair on his head to his toes. All of the time. He walks to the kitchen like that, then back to the bed room. No clothes. About 6 blankets. At first it was a little entertaining, but now he hasn't been out of the bedroom excluding the kitchen, and he's going crazy and popping out scaring me and our kids in his blanket attire. Did I mention he was a radio host? NO ONE EVEN SEES HIM!!! He is annoying me and I feel like I married a child. How do I get him to get over this and stop acting like he's been mutilated for life?

Ways to make money for my stable?

The stable I ride at doesn't have a lot of money. The stalls need repairs, they need new halters and leads, and they basically need help! They do a lot of lessons and have a handful of boarders, but my trainer, who owns the barn, is so generous, and does a lot of discount fees and such. My husband and I have been married for 5yr. and together for 6yr. I'm already making plans to separate and move out in a month, but is there no help for us? He was suppose to be my white knight to rescue me and make my life better, not worse. God couldn't have given him an easier child to love. Why does this bother some Christians?

Yes, as a Christian, it bothers me. Jesus tells us to tell others the Good News about Him, but I know I go overboard myself, and I don't wait for God to tell me who to speak to about Him-I just start talking about Jesus,and most of the time it is not someone to whom God has started opening their hearts to Him yet. I think that Bible tracts are a great way though, to tell others about Him by just handing them a tract, maybe with your email on it....and then let the Holy Spirit do the rest of the work without getting into a huge argument with someone whom God has not opened their heart to accept the truth of Jesus. I try to keep a large supply handy to put in with bills, or to hand to cashiers at stores, or people walking past me. They can either look at it or throw it away, up to them. But I have done what God wants me to do. I pray every day that He will put people in my path to share Jesus with, and He always does, whether it is sharing the love of Jesus with them, talking about Him, or just handing them a Bible tract. We are to tell others about Him, but no one can come to Christ unless the Holy Spirit is opening their hearts and drawing them to Him. Nothing we can do about that.

Question about kitten?

This morning I fed my kittens there food (and we also have water out 24/7.) Then about 3 hours later I gave my kitten's some chicken (about a handful). And both of them the little girl and little boy (14 week olds) ate all of it. Then after I read the package and it said that it has salt, garlic, and onion in it (which I know is bad for them so I am not going to give them that again.) About an hour later, I picked up the little girl kitten and as I was holding her, she starting sticking her tongue out and was panting like a dog (which made me very nervous and was wondering if she was ok.) By the way, It was very hot today so I thought that maybe she was dehydrated. So, I carried her to the bowl of water and she didn't want to drink anything! So I took some of the water and put it on my finger and put it by her mouth. She licked, the water off my finger and every couple 30min.-hour I have been letting her lick some more water off my finger. She took a long nap and now is awake. I went up to her (when she woke up) and picked her up and she was crying a lot (I don't know what she wanted.) I also noticed that some black gunk was coming out of her nose (but I don't know if that was related.) I thought that maybe she was hungry so I fed her her kitten food. She seems pretty mellow now maybe crying a little though. Anyways, what I want to know is if there is something wrong with her? Is she sick? Or what??

How can i handle my brother?

My big brother tells me i am lucky he isn't a douche to me. But i feel so much anger and hurt from him because he easily tells people that I have anger issues and really need counseling. He goes into much more personal things than that also, when speaking to his friends. He tells them very personal things about when i was depressed and all the issues my brother believes I have. He's gone so far as to say to them that Im manic bipolar, even though i am not. The only time i ever feel angry is when im around him. I've asked him to stop and he pretends he doesnt know what i mean. He attacks all i do. How do i cope or deal with this? I have asked my parents for help but they ignore what i say because my brother is the oldest and is the only son. Anything he says or does is forgivable in my family. It is true i get angry alot, but this is when i am around my family. Outside of my home i am a pretty positive person and mellow. I have approached my psych prof. about counseling and she said i seem fine from all her observations of me, we even had a session together and she said i appear emotionally and mentally stable ( i did this because what my brother said got to me). so what the hell? how do i deal with this dude?
