Question about kitten?

This morning I fed my kittens there food (and we also have water out 24/7.) Then about 3 hours later I gave my kitten's some chicken (about a handful). And both of them the little girl and little boy (14 week olds) ate all of it. Then after I read the package and it said that it has salt, garlic, and onion in it (which I know is bad for them so I am not going to give them that again.) About an hour later, I picked up the little girl kitten and as I was holding her, she starting sticking her tongue out and was panting like a dog (which made me very nervous and was wondering if she was ok.) By the way, It was very hot today so I thought that maybe she was dehydrated. So, I carried her to the bowl of water and she didn't want to drink anything! So I took some of the water and put it on my finger and put it by her mouth. She licked, the water off my finger and every couple 30min.-hour I have been letting her lick some more water off my finger. She took a long nap and now is awake. I went up to her (when she woke up) and picked her up and she was crying a lot (I don't know what she wanted.) I also noticed that some black gunk was coming out of her nose (but I don't know if that was related.) I thought that maybe she was hungry so I fed her her kitten food. She seems pretty mellow now maybe crying a little though. Anyways, what I want to know is if there is something wrong with her? Is she sick? Or what??
