How do I remove a whitish translucent overlay from a digital picture?

My SE C-905 seems to be giving me some problem. Whenever I take pictures, it comes with a whitish overlay over it. Not a very nice thing. Just wanted to know if I could get rid of this overlay in Photoshop .
